New Tesla cheap Electric Car

The head of the American automaker said that plans to create a new low-cost electric car remained in force. 


Journalists of the agency learned that the company of Ilona Mask intends to engage in the production of a cheap electric car, which will work preferentially in an autonomous mode.


Musk said that the engineers of the corporation have an understanding of how to create a car and the cost of assembling which will be two times less than that of the Tesla Model 3 sedan.


The entrepreneur did not disclose the cost of the future unmanned vehicle and the timing of its release.


Journalists recalled that Musk made a promise to launch an inexpensive car with autopilot in January 2020. 


Then the head of Tesla noted that the company will be able to produce an electric car worth up to 25 thousand dollars within three years.


In early March, Tesla shares fell by five percent after the announcement of plans by the head of the corporation Elon Musk to release a cheap electric car. 


The value of securities fell by 10.66 dollars, to 192.11 dollars.
