According to updated information on the company's support website, Tesla has opened its network of charging stations for everyone.

The project will work in a limited mode - according to representatives of the Elon Musk Corporation, at the moment the owners of any third-party electric vehicles can use part of the stations located in the USA, Australia, France, the Netherlands, Norway, and other countries.

"We will closely monitor each station for congestion and listen to customers about their experience," the company stressed.

The company also noted that owners of electric cars other than Tesla will pay more than owners of branded cars. To connect to the Supercharger, the user will have to download a special application.

"We have always sought to open the Supercharger network to electric vehicles other than Tesla, and thereby encourage more drivers to switch to electric vehicles," the company explained its goal.

Up to this point, Tesla has opened several stations for third-party cars in pilot mode in November 2021.

In April 2022, it became known that Tesla stopped equipping its electric cars with a free charger. Later, the head of the company Elon Musk said that owners of electric cars rarely use a separate device, preferring wall chargers or Supercharger stations.
